Photos of friends and I
Last Friday, I was brought to Meatworks for a birthday dinner. Food was okay. Company was lovely. We then went to Unsalted Caramel for a nice ice cream treat! See photos.
Last Thursday, Ikhsan took me to East Coast Park for a birthday meal! I had satay, Chinese rojak, cockles, BBQ wings, stingray and sugarcane w lemon!
I met an old friend, Yana and quickly took some photos! Here's them!

Fifty Shades of Grey
Sorry, I haven't been writing as much after I got back from the Philippines. I was catching up on all the missed shows while I was away, specifically Vampire Diaries. Four more episodes and I will be done with season 2. Sure as hell came a long way.
I remembered my friend, Deeque telling me to check out VD a couple years ago. Wish I had then, lol. Deeque if you're reading this, I'm sorry I didn't! I am in love with Damon & Tyler!
I am also a few more pages to the end of Fifty Shades of Grey. I am compelled to read and read till my eyelids shut! I am actually sad it is coming to an end. Thank God, I bought the second book. :))
Christian Grey keeps playing stuffs in my head. He's the type of man you would love to be with. I had a weird dream last night.

Happy Birthday to me!
So, I turned 26 thirty minutes ago. Hajar passed me my very first present and a card. She lied to me earlier saying that she got me a perfume. At first, I felt a little bummed out but I had accepted the fact that she got me it. When I ripped open my present, i saw a long black wallet. Marc by Marc Jacobs.
OMG. TDF!
I was totally surprised!! I love the present, the wrapper and the card.
I am so thankful to have met Hajar and got close over the years. I don't know if I can ever meet anyone as awesome as she is. I love her dearly and I want us to be closer than ever. I cannot imagine living my life without her, knowing how lively it already is with her.
Irene, Red, Hajar & I will be going island hopping tomorrow. There's nothing more I want to do on my birthday but being lazy on the beach and snorkel. :D
After that, we'll drive up to the hills for a nice dinner.
I am so thankful to have known these wonderful human beings. I am truly blessed.
Alhamdulillah.
And now, I shall continue reading my book and head to bed. I've set the alarm for 6.30am. Wish me luck. Hah!

Turning 26 in Cebu
I just got back from a day's outing with the friends around Cebu.
Sitting on the hotel bed, nothing fills my mind except mama's, overcoming my fears and island hopping on my birthday tomorrow.
She has been sick for almost a week now, the medication didn't really help and she's pretty stubborn. I kept telling her to go to the doctor I normally go it, and she wouldn't listen. It saddens me to know that she is not feeling well. I wish I was at her side. I really do.
I bought lots of otaps, goodies and a mother's day gift. I hope I can make it up to her for my absence.
Earlier, I also went on the Skywalk and coaster edge. Scariest shit ever but I am so glad I did it. All that adrenaline rush was worth every drop of sweat on my palms. Haha
I seriously am looking forward to island hopping. Although our stay in Cebu will be for 9 days, I have only gone to the beach twice. I feel like I need more of the beach. If I could, I would go to the beach every morning for a swim, tan and nap. Just like what I did when I was in Perth, but that was also because the hotel was 5 minutes away from the beach.
Turning 26 makes me realize about the bigger picture. It doesn't always have to be about the smaller things. I've learnt to ignore the small petty ones and remain patient for the bigger picture will slowly show. :)
I am going to jump in the shower now. I smell of the sushi place we went earlier.
And oh, happy birthday to my favourite girl in the world, Sarah Hayley!

Cebu & Palawan, here I come!
I only just finished packing at 4pm earlier. I started at noon! Can you imagine that?! OMG. Half of me wants to bring everything and the other wants to cut as many as possible. So hard! But eventually, I managed to pack ample stuffs for the 9 days I will be staying in the Philippines.
Thank God, Hajar had already done the online check in. I will have to be at the airport by 11pm. I am really excited!! :O
Countdown to Cebu = less than 10 hours! Woohoo!

Reliving Titanic & Warhol
I just got back from hanging out with the girls on the Good Friday holiday. Spent almost 12 hours outside! It started out w lunch, cupcakes, a little bit of shopping, titanic exhibition, titanic 3D movie and then tea. What a night!
I am a little worn out to be honest, but I insist on jotting these words before bed.
The exhibition was splendid. Entrance cost was $24 inclusive of Andy Warhol's art exhibition. We were each given a boarding pass card. And I the back of the card were details of the actual passenger. My friends and I decided to play this character as we journeyed through.
My character was Mrs Stepehen Hold, aged 36 and accompanied by my husband, Mr Stephen Hold.
I walked through a mock deck board, the grand staircase and the wonderful artifacts that has been recovered.
At the end of the exhibition, we came to this wall. It was sectioned into 4 different columns - first class, second class, third class and crew. Each column were divided into two parts - saved and lost.
I was in the second class. Without haste, I started to search for this name under "lost". I found Mr Stephen Hold. I was hoping to find my (character's)name next to him but I couldn't. I tried again. Still nothing. I then went on to look under "saved" and there I was. I then remembered the part where they prioritized women and children during the chaotic moments prior to sinking.
I felt a sign of relief to know this lady survived.
We went watched the movie, I was in touch with the film more than ever.
All in all, I had an eventful Friday. I am glad it happened the way it did. I cannot think of a better way to spend it. Alhamdulillah.
I must share with you though, that I am a little upset that Russell Peters has decided to do his show in Singapore on 5th May. Hajar and I will be away in Cebu during that period. We want to attend his show so bad, you have no idea. I hope he opens another date. Sometime after the 8th would be ace. :)
I got some photos to share. Nothing on the exhibition though since no photography is allowed.

Lana Del Rey LOVE!
Gosh, I am in love with her voice! Unique on a whole different level. The last time I heard something so unique was Ellie Goulding. What a voice, what a voice. Love love.
Have a good one ahead! I hope Monday flies by like no other!
I am beginning to miss my niece, Sarah Hayley. Its bad. :(
