Real human being and a real hero

I am so thankful I could just be lazy and watch movies today. Went out yesterday and got back at 10. My legs were so knackered. I felt like I was in BKK and had walked around in Platinum the entire day. That is how I felt like last night.

Anyways, I was able to watch a couple of movies, and they were awesome. So, I thought why not share it with you guys.

I've watched Moneyball and Drive. I am currently watching my all time childhood movie, The Lost Boys. I got The Ides of March next. Woohoo!

I can't wait for Sarah Hayley to be here! My brother and his wife will be heading out for a movie, so Mama and I will be babysitting! Can't wait!

Recently, there were stuffs that happened to Hajar and I. We wished it wasn't blown out of proportion. Things happened for a reason. We have cancelled our trip to Sri Lanka and will not be able to join the other girls. Thinking about it now, if we hadn't had cancelled, we are only a week away. I have been waiting for this trip since November!

There was a hiccup in the planning I must admit. I was so affected and I disliked how it was affecting me in a wrong way. I wanted to go, I really did. Only God knows how much I was willing to spend and experience this. However, only God knows best. It appears that it is not our time to visit Sri Lanka just yet. I was just speaking with Hajar the other night about this. I am very blessed to be given a sign someway or another, because we travelled a lot, and this is the first time we had to cancel a trip.

The refund wasn't so bad but it is not good either. At first, I thought I had to burn the whole amount since it is a promo ticket, but turns out cancellation fee is $150. Alhamdulillah Most would think it is ONLY $150. It is money after all, and this can cover your transport and a bit of your food. This amount could have covered 3/4 of my new ticket.

Surely, there is a blessing in this disguise. As weird as this feels, I hope what has happened will not determine the fate of our friendships. The last time I remember feeling like this, was probably in primary school. On my part, I've realized my mistakes, and I admit them but at this point of time my intentions are being questioned and wrongly assumed. I wish I could go back and undo some of the things, but I can't. Lesson learnt on my end. Regardless, life goes on.

Then two nights ago, we talked about going to Batam for a day on the CNY weekend. Then we looked at other tickets. And we have decided on a location! Woohoo! The ticket has been booked, paid and confirmed! YAY! I will begin the countdown when it is nearer! It is a shopping paradise. Therefore, I cannot wait to hunt for 30 gorgeous dresses!

Ending this entry with a couple of photos. I bought a pair of shades from Charles & Keith last weekend! It is TDF! Love it!

Sleepover & Dreams

For the past two nights, I slept over at Hajar's. She needed my company because her parents are holidaying in KL and will be back on Sunday. She was scared of being alone at home. So I thought okay, I'll overnight.

Didn't get much sleep on the first night, needs a wee bit of an adjustment. Met Dila which was awesome. :) Last night, I slept like a baby! And this sleep came with really nice dreams.

I felt like I had a baby with me, and she's really tiny. I couldn't make out if she was mine, related to me or whatever. I just know that I had to spend as much time as I can with her while she is still small and cute.

Next, I dreamt R came to Singapore. I was at a traffic junction and he was in a car driving into a parking lot. I remembered the happiness I felt when I saw him. And then two guys from behind called me out. I turned and they asked me stuffs. They said they have been following me from the other place. I was dumbfounded. Didn't know what to do. I wanted to run but R has driven in and lost sight of him.

Alhamdulillah, weekend is here. Rough week in the office.

However, I sure am looking forward to half day at work tomorrow, pre NY's party at a colleague's, Linda's wedding this Sunday and meeting the Frenchies on Monday.

Weird Dreams

Well, I just got up like 10 minutes ago, and I thought there would be no better way in remembering my dream than updating via my blog.

I think i only snoozed after 2am. I dreamt my ex was dating my mom. I didn't know how to react but there were tons of emotions in me all running wild when my mom told me he texted her. I even wanted to read the text in secret just to find out what he had said to her. I felt betrayed by my mom but at the same time, it takes two to tango. Plus, my mom looked so happy and I thought it was unfair if I rained on her parade and even try to disagree to whatever. I remember feeling in despair.

Then the dreams changed. And I found myself in the waters of Hikkaduwa. My goodness. The waters were so turquoise blue! It was so amazing! I remember the girls and I were going out to snorkel and I saw many fishes swimming near me. I saw a few dead ones. And I think a baby shark too. When we saw the baby sharks, we decided to head back to shore. However I remembered that baby sharks were harmless. (Was on a snorkeling trip in Langkawi once and we swam around them.)

Anyways, I remember feeling so happy and exited just because of the waters. I can't wait! :) Insya' Allah.

I am going to jump in the shower now, meeting Nazmin and then off to Maya's for lunch and to meet to decide on stuffs for SL.

On a side note, there are problems with north-south an east-west MRT lines this morning and I doubt the problems have been fixed. I am worried for tomorrow. We have a speaker coming in at 9, and I need to be at work by half past 8! I need to think of alternatives. Insya'Allah.

The weekend is finally here!

Instead of being in the shower, I decided to update this quick before the weekend madness begins!

Today, Hajar and I are spending our time at the Carlton Hotel! (courtesy of Dila! :)) I am meeting her in a bit to get our breakfast, buy some stuffs and then be lazy in the room!

It's her birthday tomorrow, and I am taking her out to this place I've picked out and all. I got her present ready and all and I really hope she likes it! I am excited to give it to her!

On a side note, knowing my weekend will not spare me time to do my laundry and stuffs. I did that as soon as I got back yesterday and I tried to sleep early but only managed to doze off at about 10plus to 11. I could do a noon nap haha.

Also, I am so thankful I have found a friend who has a backpacker's bag! The reason why I didnt want to get it for myself is because this will be my first time travelling without a luggage. And I want to make sure, I enjoy backpacking. The thought of minimizing the things I have to bring is so worrying!

I am just left to get tights, shorts and a pair of shoes! :) I hope this trip will be a smooth one. It will be great start to 2012!

Before I put my phone away and drift myself to sleep, I just wanna share the thoughts that has been running through my head lately.

Recently, Mama showed me a video of this ustaz performing a healing session of this lady who got possessed. Due to the nature of the language, I can safely assume it took place in a French speaking country. Either France or Canada. Anyways, during the healing where he was questioning the Jinns, they exposed a lot of information that we've heard about or seen. I then went on to google some of the key words that I've heard. Undeniably, there's a sudden hunger in my curiosity to learn more about the next thing I've discovered. It is just never-ending. A lot to absorb. Addictive. Very addictive. Basically, I read more about Dajjal, Illuminati (I knew about this years ago but never really pay much attention) and the signs of Judgement Day. One of the signs say that there will 12 Dajjals appearing to dupe mankind that they are messengers. It's actually scary. I'll post the video tomorrow or whenever I can. I am typing this on my iPhone and I can only update text and photos. No function for videos yet.

Dinner and 3 bags full of laughters

I had a wonderful time with Hajar! Went out to a get a bday present for a friend! Had dinner, had tea and talked and laughed and talked and laughed and talked and laughed. We even got lost track of time!

(She has made me realized of the unnecessary rut I was in. Sometimes I wonder why things are so fucked up. I'm not asking for them to be easy, but why have to be sooo fucked up though? I shall rise above.)

I just got back from hanging out with Hajar earlier! I had a movie marathon earlier! Watched the adventures of tin tin with work and then watched Immortals with Hajar. OMG. That film is TDF! I'd tell you about Greek men, they have quite the charm!

So in love with Taylor Swift

It has been two weeks now, and I cant get over Taylor's single "Back to December". The song that was highly rumoured written about Taylor Lautner. When I first paid attention to the lyrics, and thought of the two, I replayed the scenes in my head. And if you were to read the entire song, you would know why I got a little emotionally affected by it.

It is soooo damn sad. I then went to watch videos of her singing that song live. There is a good one where she performed at the AMAs 2010. A little pitchy though, she didnt reach some notes well but she sort of ended it with One Republic's Apologize. I also love the part where the whole crowd gave her a standing ovation. She is one brilliant artist. Oh oh oh there are also videos of her inviting other artists to sing with her on her tour. She invited JB, Usher, Hayley Williams, B.o.B, Jason Mraz. So damn awesome. Basically, she is telling a story of what turned out after. She apologized to TL and he said its too late. Man, I really hope they get back together. Yes, I am random like that.

Earlier today, I had the best nap in addition to the most awesome sleep for a Friday night which also means I've screwed my sleeping hours for the next night. It's 3.23am and I am as awake as I can be. Can't even remember being THIS awake! About an hour ago, I was delighted when it started to rain. I thought it was the perfect weather to doze off to. But yeah, unfortunately that didn't happen to me. Serves me right for being greedy on naps.

I was looking forward to dinner. I thank God, maghrib finally arrived. :)

My brother came with his wife and Sarah. YAY! God, she's so damn adorable!

I love it when they come around and I get to be goofy with her.

We're halfway through with Thursday. I am trying to get an article done by 6.30pm.

Today, Denmark took me out for a lunch date at Waroeng Penyet at Marine Parade. Gosh, their dishes are ayyyyymazing! I am definitely coming back there again! :D

Frequent random texts, photos and videos

What a lovely Wednesday morning! I am typing this as I make my way to the train station. Sleep was amazing. I usually sleep very well but last Sunday, I dozed off late and that was because of John. He sent me videos of himself and the butterflies in me won't shut it. Haha

This morning I woke up to a nice photo of him. It's delightful. Especially when I had a nightmare.

I dreamt I was ring chased. I have never had this chasing-me dream in so long. I was doing spiderman stunts just to get away from them. I was feeling all weird and emotional. I was scared out if my wits. When I woke up, I wonder why I didnt just confronted them. Maybe next time, when I get to control my dreams.

Thank God it's already midweek!

Some sort of inception

Last night, I had 2 levels of dreaming. I dreamt I went to sleep in my dream and dreamt of something else. This has happened before but I never thought it was something until I have seen Inception. However, my dreams are not as exaggerated as the ones in that movie. I can control my dream (at times) but I can't do major planning and I hardly realize about the time.

I learnt to control my dreams a couple years ago. I had an ex boyfriend who suggested I write down my dreams as soon as I get them, and to list them in details as much as I could. I did that and eventually I find myself controlling my dreams. What I meant by controlling is I would do things I knew I would never do in reality, and also because I knew I was dreaming.

Anyways, back to last night's dream. I was able to control my second level of dreaming, this was my first, I got so deep when I woke up from it, I thought it was reality.

I only realized it wasn't when my mum woke me up. I was surprised because I thought I had already woke up before that. I then knew it I got it mixed up because I was in my second level of dreaming.

It's so weird I know, and I am not sure if you can even understand what I just blogged.

What I am trying to say is, I don't get to control my dreams all the time, but when I do? I go hard on with controlling them. An example, I knew I was dreaming and there was no way I could be injured or die, therefore I jumped from a high building. Second example is my confrontation with a heartless girl from school. I knew I was dreaming, so I gave her a good punch and warned her to stay out of my way. Gosh, I must admit though that punch felt fantastic. Haha

Anyways, I don't know who else can control their dreams. Hopefully, I meet people whom I can share or relate such weirdo stuffs.

Halloween Horror Nights confirmed!

Fai has finally confirmed the tickets for the halloween horror nights that will be taking place at the resorts world: universal studios singapore! I am very very very very excited, over the moon excited.

I have not gone to USS yet, so this will be my first time and I have not really gone out and about during the halloween period, so this will be my first time too!

I am sooooooo ready to take all the crazy rides, and I meant really crazy and scary rides. Yes.

I am so thankful, words can't describe

Last night, I met a very close friend when I was 12. After we graduated, moved on to secondary schools, we basically lost contact.

Four years ago, I met her on the bus, we said hello but didn't have enough time to exchange numbers because I was alighting. That remained my biggest regret until recently. I though to myself why didnt I just stayed on and get her number. I could always take a bus back home.

Anyways, recently a classmate of us uploaded our class photo, and everyone started tagging everyone. I was away in Saigon and did not have full access to Facebook. She added me and messaged me. When I had the chance to access, we messaged a little. We begun our message spree when I got back, and it was the most beautiful thing ever.

We spent a good amount of time eating, talking about old times, catching up on each other's lives and laughing. I had the best time with her and I am so glad our chemistry never died. Why we didn't remain friends after graduation was a pretty long story. But we're here now, our paths crossed again.

I am so thankful, no words can describe the true feeling of how thankful I am for having this chance to be reconnected to her. God, I love her to death. Alhamdulillah.

After the meet with Linda, Maya and Hajar fetched me and we went to Clarke Quay. Sat around talking, people watching and laughing. I am so thankful for my girlfriends. :) Got home at 3am and BAM!

I've put my stuffs away, bought tons of lulur (known as body scrub) and tried the first tub earlier. :))))))))

I am so happy I got tons of them! They cost crazy crazy cheap! I normally get the Citra brand from Joo Chiat. I haven't got one in so long because I bought like 3 big tubs of Soap & Glory ones. My oh my. Soap & Glory has amazingggggg body scrubs. It was really cheap when I got them in Bangkok. They were like $12? But if I were to literally get them from Sephora, they cost about $36, if my memory doesn't fail me.

I feel so lethargic, I think I am going to snooze early tonight. I can't believe Monday is approaching in less than an hour's time! I can't wait to see Azlin tmr! I wanna give her some passionfruits that I have bought! She told me she never had them before! Omg! Passionfruits are TDF!

I haven't had dinner, I feel hungry but I guess I'll have a really good lunch tomorrow. I am guessing Mc D breakfast meal. Mmhhhmmmmmmm... Sausage mcmuffin with egg. Yummmmmmmmm

I hope I can go to Batam again, even if it's for the weekend, this time with Hafiz & Hakim included. It will be so fun for them and us all.

Before I depart to Batam

I have about 25 mins left to dawdle before our ferry opens it's gate for boarding. Today, it's my first trip going there with Mama. The last time I travelled with her(having to overnight) was some 13 years ago when I went to Saudi Arabia. I feel like she's so excited, and it really makes me happy. Although I know she's a little worried about my younger brothers and Blackie, but sometimes you gotta learn to let go for a little bit. Haha I teased her a little this morning, what if my brothers forgot to feed her and we found her body lying motionlessly underneath our bed when we get back? Haha

I am soooo tired & sleepy. I can't wait to get my stuffs and go to bed at night.

All Packed!

I did a very very very quick packing and did my laundry. I am left with the last batch. If you're wondering why I do in batches. Well, I don't mix my pretty clothes with my home clothes. I don't know why. It's not that they are very dirty to be mixed, but my mind tells me they are home clothes and they are of different calibre. Lol I am so bias I didn't even know it.

It's half past 11, I ought to be asleep, especially when I feel so lethargic like this. This time last week, I was tucking in the Saigon hotel. I feel like I have yet to recover from Saigon trip. You know be lazy, sleep in till in the late afternoon. Skip breakfast and lunch, and have a nice dinner. Watch online shows or have a movie marathon. I miss watching movies. Ever since I lost my Vaio to water damage, I have yet to watch any movies. :( I am soooo in need of a new laptop. I want a MacBook pro. I really do! And I will get it! All in good time!

Seeing Mama all excited about this weekend trip really makes me happy. How can a weekend to Batam get her this excited? She tells me the things she wants to buy. And she constantly tell me over and over again. I am looking forward to the trip! I wanna get passionfruits, body scrubs and Wacoal lingerie!

I feel blessed for having enough to take her to a nice getaway in Batam. Hopefully, this is the first of many. Insya Allah.

Back to r e a l i t y

Well, I got back from beautiful Saigon on Tuesday midnight. I applied for last minute urgent leave on Tuesday. I couldn't get up, and my thighs were hurting so bad.

It was hurting from all that crawling in the moaning tunnel while we were in Cu Chi. It is not called the moaning tunnel. I changed it. Haha everyone was moaning in there, for the lack of space, light and air. The Korean American guy behind me was also moaning. It got really awkward and funny when each time I ended moan, he would moan. LOL right?

Anyways, I love Saigon. I really do. I am glad we made friends with 2 Vietnamese girls and they brought us to the best shopping district evah.

We went in their motorbikes and experienced first hand the crazy traffic of Saigon.

I will be uploading my photos on FB soon, I got like 300++ photos. God.

Thank God it's thursday already. I will be heading to Batam with Mama this weekend. My treat for her. She's like excited. She wants to buy her head scarves, fruits, lompok durian and crackers. Seeing her excited like that, really makes me happy. And we will be in Batam for only a night. There will even be a massage included in this package. Thank God, I was given enough to pamper her. Hopefully, this is the first of many for her. Of course, I would like to take her elsewhere. She did expressed her interest on BKK. Lol! Insya Allah, jikalau murah rezeki.

Lovin' Saigon

I am lovin' it here. May not be a hopping paradise, but everything is awesome! Well, not everything, hehe I hate the roads here! They have no system at all! I keep getting multiple anxieties when crossing the road, and trust me there is a lot of roads to cross!

I had a foot massage earlier costing only S$10. It was awesome. My masseuse could speak really good English. It was enlightening to have a normal conversation with a local. I later found out that she actually majored in Japanese and took English while in university. She was working for a university before earning thrice more than she does now but she said she has a lot more fun working in a massage parlour. She get to meet more people and she really love the change. So what made me realized is that she earns a mere USD70 per month. Yes you read that right. 70 not 700. And she only has 2 off days. My oh my.

I hope to see her for more rounds of massage before I leave. Its 9pm now in Saigon. We are an hour behind Singapore. I just skyped with Mama. It was sooooo nice to hear her, I swear.

The Talk

Believe it or not, we had the longest conversation evah. We decided to come out of our shelves together and be open with our feelings. It was so hard for me to be entirely honest with him because I fear being vulnerable.

At the end of the day, our questions and doubts are answered but we would love to meet each other again. As we were talking, he decided to look at tickets to Singapore. OMG right? Then I told him that if he really did come here, then I am going to make it a point to get my ass to Colorado.

Although the call didn't go as I wished it had, I am grateful that we met and that he reassures me all the time about his feelings for me.

I don't know if he will come here but that will be really fun though if he did. To be honest, I am done with long distance, so we're not even going to go there. Haha

I can't believe Monday is only a few hours away. This is so unfair. I want the weekend to stay forever. But again, with this in mind, I have about 4 more days to Saigon! This is seriously getting sexciting! I just emailed a tour agency about going on a day trip of river rafting. Let's see if we can do that!

Friday is here again! Woopeedoo!

Are we all blessed or what? Thank God it's Friday! I love weekends and holidays! Speaking of holidays, just less than a week to our holiday! I am soooooooo sexcited!

I got my Brazilian wax and Manipedi appointments booked! Will be going for an eyebrow threading too and buying the last min toiletries stuffs! I am psyched! I can't wait!

Last night, I had dinner with Hajar at Kampong Glam Cafe. You cannot go wrong with their gado-gado. Goodness gracious me. Yummm yummmm yummm. We then topped the night off with Fika's infamous caramel fudge cheesecake. Yummmmm We tried their Swedish choco balls. It was alright.

But ya know, it was so typical of us though, we could never finish the cake! Each time I have their cake with whoever else, the cake will always be half eaten! Haha

Hajar and I supposedly wanted to head to a nice bar, have a drink with an umbrella in it and just laugh the night away, but we were tired and especially sleepy. The morning weather yesterday stayed with us throughout.

I don't know what I will be doing for weekend just yet, so you guys have a fab one!

A Dinner Invite with the Kardashians

As I lay in bed right now, thinking I should really share my dream of the night before, I am hoping this post gets published in time before I snoozed. Anyways, here goes. I dreamt Kim Kardashian invited me and a few otter girls to her place for dinner. All her family members, as I was told, will be present. Oddly enough, I wasn't excited about Rob Kardashian. The only thing that stressed me out was my dress. I was wearing this cute blue dress on and I thought it was okay. I wanted something prettier, something over the top to match the lovely dinner at their house. Next thing I know, Kim was next to me. She pulled out a black dress from my wardrobe and thought it was cute and that I should wear it to dinner. I hated the black dress. It looked ugly, old and disgusting. I remember feeling astounded at the lack of dresses in my wardrobe. I could have sworn I had wayyyyyy more dresses that all of that, that I saw. In the end, not having a thing to wear, I decided not to go for the dinner. I felt terribly sad, so down and out. I was wondering what they were doing at the dinner. I even felt a little bit regret not going. I wished I had put whatever dress I could find and go have dinner with the Kardashians. I didn't know why I was making a fuss about not having anything to wear.

Then I felt I was invited to cover a story for a magazine. I had a feeling i was working as a journalist or writer for some sort of a fashion magazine. It sure felt surreal. And then, I woke up.

Man, that was probably the first time I ever dreamt of Kim Kardashian.

Hopefully, my sould will venture out to somewhere uh-mazingggg again tonight.

Yesterday evening, he called me to say hello. He told he just woke up and how lazy he was. I just think he wanted to hear me first thing in the morning. Haha

I am fully aware that its been so long since I last updated. My Vaio is completely whacked. Ka-put. :( I am terribly sad. I have to rely on my brother's macbook for the time being and I hate it. I am planning to get myself a macbook pro though. All in good time. I need to make sure I have enough before splurging on something like that.

My soul to Bora Bora

This may sound ridiculous but I just had to share it!

So, last night I watched the latest episode of Keeping it Up with the Kardashian. In it, the entire family went on a vacation to Bora Bora. Last night, I dreamt I was in Bora Bora. Mannnnn, it was sooooo beautiful and breath taking! I remembered the turquoise clear water and just immersing myself with the environment. I also remembered taking a dip and actually swam to the bottom and then went up and paddled. Get this, I cannot swim for nuts. Well, wait. I can swim from one end to another, but my feet must be able to touch the ground and I cant paddle for peanuts. Nah uh. Trust me, I have tried to learning to paddle soooo many damn times, it gets annoying!

Anyways, just wanted to share that with you. I have the weirdest dreams sometimes, and I think its worth sharing.

I actually just got back from hanging out with Hajar. Gosh, that girl cracks me up so bad, I am on the verge of losing my voice.

We are finally on the 25th day of Ramadan. Alhamdulillah. Time sure fly pass quickly. We are just 4 days away from Syawal! Woopeedoo! I am certainly looking forward to eating Mama's food! Beef rendang, sambal chicken, lodeh veggies, and ketupat!

I will be heading to Malaysia with Mama, my aunt and uncle this Sunday for a quick Syawal shopping. I am sort of looking forward to it. Although, we will be fasting running all those errands, I am sure time is spent better that way.

And on Saturday, we will be heading back to Bedok Reservoir to vote for the presidential election. Honestly, I am not sure who I should be voting for. They are not playing it well, none are. I just know for sure that I will not be voting for Dr Tony Tan. Not Dr Tony Tan.

Good news, Bibik Umi will be heading to Tokyo and may live there permanently with Dee and her "in-laws". I am so happy for her because that is what she had always wanted and now she got it.

I can't wait for this week to be over, I dont know why. Somehow, I have lost the motivation to do anything at all.

Recently, I watched the HBO Film - Love Crimes in Kabul. OMG. How I detest most of their laws in Afghanistan. I do.

A girl gets jailed for running away. A lady gets jailed for housing that girl who ran away. Happens so, the lady's son was in the house too, so he gets jailed all the same.

What in the blue world? Who does that?!

When I shared my insights with Azlin, she shared with me about this film that was based on a true story. I went to find the trailer and OMG.

I was also talking about all of this with my manager and she brought up about "Not Without My Daughter". She told me to read the book, but I dont know how I can get it

since it was published in the early 1990s. They made a film out of it, I might give that a watch and see if I can ever get my hands on the book.

A wonderful video I must share!

A couple days ago, my cousin posted a wonderful video on Facebook. The title, masya'Allah was so compelling I had to watch. I am glad I did. I watched it another time, watched it for the third time with Mama and had another go at it with my brothers. I shared with my friends as much as I can and I thought I should share with you guys as well.

It is a story about a christian who questioned this ustaz, at the end of the whole thing, he embraced Islam. Alhamdulillah.

Mama said, isn't that beautiful? Out of thousands of people, Allah (SWT) had chosen to open his heart to the right path. Absolutely beautiful.

Relaxing Weekend

I find it almost vital that on the month of Ramadan, I be home with my family for Iftars. Well, with Mama especially because on weekdays, I do break fast with Hafiz and Hakim but not with Mama because her work only ends at 7.30pm. So yes, I want to make sure I break fast with my family on weekends.

Alhamdulillah we are entering the third week of Ramadan, I will be so delighted once the third week has ended.

1. The last 10 days of Ramadan (Lailatul Qadar)

2. The nearing of Syawal

Yesterday, Mama and I went out to meet Bibik and Dee at her place. So, yet another time we were back in Bedok Reservoir. We brought the stuffs we bought for Obaachan and Ojiichan and also Dee's birthday presents. Spent a good 40 minutes at her place, chit chatting and laughing and then we set off to Geylang. It was quick quick quick. We bought this, that, food, katira drinks (YUM), dengdeng, cempedak goreng (DOUBLE YUM) and then took a taxi home. It took us about 15-20 minutes to get back home, and when we got back it was about 7.05pm Alhamdulillah! :)

O M G. Geylang is still the same. I personally find it very challenging with the crowd, massive heat and air whilst walking around on fast. Challenging.

I simply just cant say no to dengdeng, cempedak goreng and air katira! I cant! They are my faves! I don't know but get this, they taste so muchhhh better during Ramadan. Lol. Maybe its just my mind, playing with me.

Mama found me my prayers book. Well, during the packing before we move, she did most of the packing. I just packed my stuffs and I never realized just how much stuffs I got. :| Man. and oh oh oh amidst of moving, I was making sure I do not lose a damn thing, when we recently moved in to this new long term temporary place, I realized one of my H&M dress is missing. :( I don't know where it could have been because I have unpacked all my stuffs. EVERYTHING. :( I didn't accidentally throw it away with the garbage bags, did I? How could I? And last night I dreamt I found it. It certainly is sad. I bought that dress in Hong Kong, and its a pretty casual dress. Mannnn. :(

Qur'an Online

I listened to the recital of the Qur'an online while at work. It is really nice, it sounds amazing it almost put me to sleep yesterday.

Thought I would share the website with all of you. It has all sorts of translations on it and they put it on subtitles. So for each sentence recited, you are able to read the meaning.

It certainly is useful when you need to do work. I am currently reading the English translated Qur'an. I read them when I am commuting. It is nice to finally understand what was written in it. Insya Allah, I can finish it in time. Although, I know it is not counted. It is the intention that matters. And I want to continue reading it, so I can recall each parts (juz) easily when anyone talks to me about it. Insya Allah, I will start to read the Qur'an again in Arabic.

Mama & Eric Northman

I had the craziest dream ever. Most craziest dream you could ever imagine.

This is the best I could remember, so I will make the best of it, try to understand okay? :)

I dreamt I had a new younger brother, he looked about the age of 3 or 4 years old. Nice soft curly hair, long lashes, and brown eyes. It is obvious he was a little different from all of us because of his white skin. White as in caucasian, not white as in fair asian. Not that.

Anyways, I was really close with this little brother of mine. Unfortunately, I can't remember his name. It felt as though he was mine, but I knew he was my brother. I didn't know how he join the family and all, so I asked Mama. Plus, I was well aware in the dream that my parents are separated. It was clear that Mama did not remarry, so how did this little brother come along?

Mama told me that she used Eric's sperms. As weird as this may sound, I was flabbergasted. I was like "oh no you didnt!" I didn't believe her. I couldn't. I asked her again and again, and she said Eric Northman!

How could that be?? Part of me was devastated. Yes, I would love to be with Eric Northman. Geddit?

Then, it struck me again. Bear in mind, I am still dreaming. I was waiting for Mama to actually relay his real name. So I waited and waited, wondering when is she ever going to say "Alexander Skarsgard". I then looked at the little boy, and thought how gorgeous he was.

Then, our family was attacked by some random people, I quickly ran towards our home. It was a nice home. A big landed property. Imagine this, normally you can't really run in your dreams right? Well I did, I ran, and I reached where I wanted to go. Haha

And that's the end of my weird dream.

Pre Ramadan

Alhamdulillah, I was able to fast today to pay back the days I owe from the last Ramadan. I know I have a long way, because I have not paid back since the year my grandmother passed away. In the past, I used to fast with her, and having her around made it so much easier.

The most embarrassing thing is I cannot remember how many days I couldn't fast last Ramadan, so I will do 10 days. Insya Allah, I can pay all 10 days back before the next Ramadan comes which is like in a couple weeks. I intend, insya Allah, to fast tomorrow and Thursday for this week, and 4 days for next week, and 3 for the following week. If possible, I would like to do till Friday, we'll see.

I was doing research for work on Ramadan forums and stuffs and came across this guy who converted to Islam and shared his views and lessons with everyone. I dont know why but I think its my form of enlightenment. I am definitely ashamed because I am a born Muslim and I dont behave half of what Muslim converts do. I envy they hunger they have for Islam and I hope, insya Allah, watching and learning will help me grow closer to Allah swt.

I think this is the first post that I actually touched on religion, like hardcore. Alhamdulillah.

During lunch today, I spent an hour watching videos of converts. And I was so amused by this Australian guy's story. He is so funny but at the same time, how he found Islam was so touching.

I like the part when he asked Allah for a sign before he converts, and he was asking for anything, for something, bolt of lightning, fire, a creak, or the bird fart haha he was so funny!

Alright, I am going to have fruits and maybe off to bed for me.

Nail Paint

What a beautiful Saturday! Before I head off to clear my wardrobe for the big move out next week, I just wanted to post something random. Well, its not technically random. I am clearing photos on my digicam memory card and I refuse to have it stored on my laptop nor my hard disk, so I figured, posting them on my blog wouldn't be a bad idea. Plus, they are pretty stuffs. So, it shouldn't bore you to death. Haha

Here's a full range of my nail polishes that I simple love love love. Yes, I do my own manipedi most of the time, but when it gets seriously lazy and for some serious cleaning, I will then opt for a classic manipedi at Bare Foot, its a manipedi place located at Blk 150, yes downstairs. The same block I am staying at. Awesome right? Well, not for long. Haha

My top coats - I love Sally Hansen's. They are the best!

Bought these in Bangkok, they were selling 3 bottles for SGD4. Not only were they mad cheap, the brush and colour is ayymazaballs. Definitely, a good bargain.

Bought these in Perth, love the colours. Barbie colours. :)

My Face Shop range, I have stopped buying from them, these are just the first few bottles of my collection. I still keep them because the brushes are in working condition and so are the polishes! :)

I love my Rimmel London nail polishes too! They have this wide brush and it makes it easier for you to paint your nails! Love love!

Yes, call me crazy but I am not about to ache my neck for 2 hours on the movie of the year! Indeed, tickets have been purchased. Extremely delighted and can hardly wait for 14th July!

I got stuffs scheduled for this weekend, I hope I can rest despite all that. Meeting Bibik Umi for my belated birthday meal. We are heading to Badoque! I don't know if I should order steak or aglio oglio. Hehe

Sunday, I will be meeting Irene & Red! They are in Singapore for 3 days! OMG! I miss her so! Then Hajar and I got our brazilian appointment at 6pm and then I think she wants to watch Monte Carlo (only because Leighton Meester is in it). Really. That sort of movie deserves to be seen on DVD. I don't see fantastic plot nor actors beside Leighton. Casting director sure has worked very closely with the marketing team. Pfft.

Oh oh oh, did you know? Thai Express has removed my favourite dish of all time! Of all time y' all! :( Last Wedesday, after my absolutely wonderful massage, I went to Thai Express in hopes of having my Fried Glass Prawn Noodle. To my dismay, they have discontinued for no good reason! I was so disappointed and and and sad! Sad is not even a good word enough to describe how I felt!

Of all the bloody food they have on their menu, why remove that? Explain to me again, why they had to remove that? Weird isn't it?

Waiting For Forever

I watched a film called Waiting For Forever starring Rachel Bilson and Tom Sturridge.

Then..... I absolutely adore him. What a sexyface! I wikipedia-ed him and found out that he is actually British. Boy, was I surprised? *sarcastic tone

I mean I didnt hear a hint of his english accent, and he was such a cutie. My oh my. If you are into romantic/sappy movies, this is it, girls. Give it play.

I went to Parkway Parade with Mama today, well actually I wanted to take her to Charcos. I promised her lamb ribs last week, but didnt get any, so got some today. I bought some of my skin care products, shoes - OMG shoes were dirt cheap! They were on sale!

Annnnnddd I just got off Asos. Eeeeeek! I bought a purse. :)

I also went grocery shopping, bought broccoli, yogurts, juices and fruits. And oh oh oh ready-to-steam red bean buns. I love my red bean buns.

Alright, have an awesome Saturday night. I am going to watch a few more films. :)

Sans eyeliner. I am kinda lovin' the natural look. I may not used to looking at myself without the eyeliner, but I think I likin it. :)

Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque

Totally oblivious.

I didnt know the mosque I went to see in Abu Dhabi was actually the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.

I just turned on to NatGeo, and I read the information via the i (for info) button.

I then went on to google and voila. The mosque I visited last January. The driver who was driving us around just told us that it is the biggest mosque, but didn't share the name nor elaborate more on it. Plus, we got there at night, so I didnt see names. I was also wearing a dress, so I was actually rather worried.

Here are some of the photos taken of the most magnificient mosque I have ever seen, after Nabawi Mosque and of course Masjidil Haram.

I was in a bout of sickness for the past 2 days. I dont know what caught up with me, but something sure did. My migraine is playing it hard, it wont go away. I find it so difficult to work in the office when it comes. I can't concentrate and I can't just lie down.

I feel better now, but it was so bad, I was breaking in cold sweat, I got so paranoid because I dont want to have a fever. I had a fever once and it lasted for almost 2 weeks. I got a phobia of having fevers.

I find it a blessing to be able to work from home, so when the ugly migraine strikes, I can take a rest and continue on with my work from where I left off. Knowing, I can lay down and rest, makes it so much more comforting. Plus, we have this ramadhan project that I have been working on, and I need to get my marketing moves started. Its a Ramadhan Diet Plan, it helps with the nutrition, healthy snacks you should be munching on as well as light exercises suitable for the fasting month. It's been awesome so far, in the midst of being programmed, it will be applicable iPhone 3 & 4 to download as well as PDF format. Will keep all of you updated.

Speaking of Ramadhan, I can't believe it's coming again! First day falls on 1st August. Eeek! I am not technically looking forward to fasting, but Ramadhan is a very beautiful month. Insya Allah.

There is a certain someone that I dearly miss. I don't know if there is any other way possible to even tell him this. You know who you are. I know its crazy, because one it has been too long, in fact too long and two, it doesn't seem appropriate. But its the truth, this is how I feel, so that is honesty at its best, right there.

I don't know how I can make the situation easier but I hope that it will be possible someday soon, because I truly miss your sexyface.

Best audiobook so far

Thanks to my ex colleague recently, he recommended I listen to The Power. It is an audiobook following that amazing movie - The Secret.

This has to be the best audiobook I have listened so far. I just think I should share it with all of you. If you ever had the chance to get a copy of this, give it a listen, if not, go purchase it now!

My Saturday has been relaxing so far. I almost went to Parkway Parade with Mama because she want some of Charcos lamb ribs. I would love some of their tuna pasta salad, theirs taste so damn good. Anyways, we might go there. Spent the day catching up on the latest season of Jerseylicious. Haha I didn't know the new season was out, and they are only on the fourth episode now. Lucky me! I am soooooo loving Christy! Haha I love how honest and bitchy she is with Alexis!

Mama just told me that we have gotten a temporary apartment to stay. We will be checking that place out soon. Thank God.

Something Borrowed

Had a dinner + movie + supper date with the girls last night. OMG. The movie "Something Borrowed" was soooo funny! Haha If only, we weren't on the front seats, it would have been more comfortable. Plus, the guy is so gorge! Supper was fabulous, we had a spread at Newton's Circus. OMG!

I have bought a getaway ticket to Batam for myself and Mama with Bibik Umi and Dee. We were looking at going to Langkawi or Redang, both places requires more than 2 days of holiday, at least 4-5 days and Mama cannot do those, she can only do weekends. Therefore, Batam it shall be. I was thinking of Bintan, because we all know Bintan waters are better than Batam's, however, shopping wise, Batam has to be better. So yeah.

I don't know what I will be doing today. You know what, resting sounds like an ace idea. Really does, but Hajar she suggested for a session of ice skating. I am not sure. I am not really a big fan of ice skating. I really prefer bowling. I love bowling.

The date is out by the way, we are moving out of this apartment on the 10th July or 17th July. I am not sure which weekend but lastest by 17th July. This apartment that I have grew to love. We moved in here when I was ermm 11 years old. This year, I am 25 years old. So yeah, this place has watched me evolved. LOL. I will miss this place. I am just trying to take photos where I can, just in case we have the I-miss-the-old-apartment moments, I can just view them again.

Oh, her silent cries

It has been a little quiet when I get home these days. It all started with the shot of unfiltered words towards me. I was blamed for the lack of support, care and concern. I really think otherwise. Just because I give an opinion to the solution and agree to disagree does not mean that I am not trying to help. It does not mean that I do not feel stressed just like you do. Doesn't mean I am quiet, I do not think of the inevitable chaos that is coming our way. I see it too, in fact I feel just the same and I am looking at ways on how we can salvage ourselves.

I hate arguments. I do, they never lead to anything good anyway. Most of the time, when I feel like one is about to descend upon me and someone else, I would continue to remain quiet and remove myself. Removing myself out of the situation is normally the smartest move I could make. If keeping quiet means zero arguments and nonsensical conversations, fine, keeping quiet is what I will do.

I have no qualms whatsoever. As long as I still regard you as the person you are, I don't think I am doing anything wrong.

I grow up being with myself most of the time so I can be really quiet when it comes to. I am used to it. Books are my greatest night company, plus they put me to sleep. I can easily snooze after a chapter of reading. On good days, after a page, on better days, half a page. Yes, they sing me great lullabies.

During work today,on the most mundane Tuesday afternoon, Hajar got me excited about Saigon. Remember how much I wanted to explore Saigon early 2011 and no one wanted to come with. Strangely enough, Hajar is up for it now, but the cheaper tickets, I think, are gone for good. She then began talking about the trip our friends will be going to in October, to Turkey and how they are planning to take a boat out to Greece. How wonderful is that? I have always wanted to walk on the soils of the Greek land, find me a (sexyface) Greek emperor.

I am done sharing with what is on my mind. You might not even be able to comprehend the situation, its okay. I wasn't planning to get graded. Just wanted to put these thoughts into writing, because it helps reduce my stressful being in a way.

I am going to read a book and hopefully snooze very soon. Battle continues for 3 more days. I hope this battle ends quick. Somehow, I must say rather unfortunately, I may have lost it for work. I can't explain why because I am trying to think otherwise, but I think soon enough, I will be defeated.
